International Humanitarian Law .
Humanitarian legislation comprised mainly of the four Geneva Conventions (1949) and the two Additional Protocols (1977), intimately associated with the responsibilities of the International Committee of the Red Cross and of the National Red Cross or Red Crescent Societies.
